Congratulations to Team SCC on retaining the Ryder Cup trophy! Members from Sullivan Country Club squared off against the Monticello Golf Club for the 3rd consecutive year, with SCC once again pulling out a close victory with a final score of 22 - 18.
A huge thank you goes to the Monticello Golf Club, their staff and their team for once again partnering up and making this a fantastic event! We look forward to continuing this annual tradition for many years to come!
Sullivan Country Club hosted a night of fun and laughter last night!
One good thing about the awful weather, our members were in the mood for a good laugh!! We had a wonderful turn-out for our Dinner and Comedy Night. The first show was SOLD OUT and we had a near full house for the late show.
Thank you to those that were able to join us for this fun event. It was great to see everyone getting out in anticipation for the Spring weather that is just around the corner! Griffin's BBQ Catering Crew bone-in rib-eye steak and chicken dinners were excellent!
We offered a 50/50 raffle that promoted the proceeds to go to the Moultrie County Food Pantry! Because of your support, this wonderful charity will be gaining $180.00.
Many thanks to Erik Scott! Erik, the grandson of members George and Valee Selby, helped us pull together a line up of talent from Chicago that had us all slapping our knees and wiping tears from our eyes.
Positive feedback from those of you who attended and from our guest comedians have us planning a repeat performance later this fall! We will keep you all posted and hope to present another evening of talented comedians once again!
See you all on the course very soon!!
Sullivan Country Club Social Committee
Thank you to all that were able to join us last night~ It was a super busy night in Moultrie County. Local bands playing, Valentine dances happening and sketchy weather predicted! We still had WONDERFUL member support and a GREAT turn-out!!
5:00 Cocktail Hour was such a nice time to catch up! Over 50 attended despite the impending weather scare. We've missed our Summer friends and seeing everyone together again reminds us that golf season is approaching SOON!!
6:00 Valentine Dinner was delicious! Griffin's BBQ Catering NEVER disappoints! We are fortunate to have their culinary talent and exceptional professional business so close to home. THANK YOU JIM AND LISA!!
